With a smart and intelligent content operating system, Sharedien combines Content management, content hubs, workspaces, brand portals, and digital rights management into one seamless platform. Their mission is to empower brands worldwide to tell consistent and compelling stories by transforming the way digital content is created, managed, and delivered.
One of their primary solutions for customers is a digital asset and content management (DAM) platform, which allows companies to organize, store, retrieve, and manage assets in a centralized repository.
Metadata and tagging play a crucial role in DAM systems by organizing assets and ensuring they can be easily found when needed. However, poor, missing, and outdated metadata is common across all industries and becomes especially risky with larger companies that manage diverse and numerous assets.
One Sharedien customer, a global consumer goods manufacturer, was struggling to organize their assets, which were increasing at a substantial rate. In order to use their DAM platform, they were manually extracting and adding classifying information to assets, resulting in considerable time investment, higher operational costs, and potential for human error. These inefficiencies hindered their ability to scale, reduced time-to-market, and limited the value of DAM generally.
To remain competitive and deliver greater value to their clients, the consumer goods company partnered up with Sharedien, their solution provider for digital asset and content management and the AI Co-Innovation Labs to develop an innovative, AI-driven solution that automates and streamlines these processes.
